Two great South East Essex clubs are looking for GK's for this coming season.
Southendian Manor Youth Football Club U8 Lions are looking for a GK. Budding GK's get your parents to call Jon on 07921 920042. Great club and a great group of children.
Rayleigh Boys are looking for a keeper for their U16 Greens team. Year 11 this coming school year or a year below if you want to play up a year. They play in the Prem of the Southend and District Sunday League, a good friendly bunch of boys. Contact John on 07523 866516 or email luckylovett@sky.com
Christmas Postal Deadline
Merry Christmas to all our 1GKers out there in GK land! We are still taking orders but 1pm 19/12/2016 is our deadline for personalised orders to have any chance of making the Christmas post. We will be getting new stock through in the new year. We hope you all have a wonderful festive break.
Bentley keeps it clean
Daniel Bentley made his home debut for Brentford yesterday, 13th August 2016.
No surprise to us here at 1GK as Dan produced a clean sheet, it may have been a surprise to Ipswich as they has never failed to score when playing Brentford!
Congratulations Dan and Brentford on a great 2-1 victory over Mick McCarthy's team. We know that the Bee's have already found a fans favorite and this is just the begining.
It's a big season ahead for the former Southend United No1. We know that this is just the begining for a top keeper and true professional. #Team1GK

Jamie Jones joins #Team1GK
Stevenage FC keeer, Jamie Jones is the latest professional to join the 1GK stable.
Jamie has made over 250 league apperences. He started his career with Everton and played the majority of his professional games inbetween the sticks for Leyton Orient.
Jones is confident that Stevenage will have a good season. In a BBC interview he said
"As a player, I just need to concentrate on starting next season as I finished it. I thought my last 10 games were really strong,
"As a team, we don't deserve to be in the position we were last season fighting against relegation, we need to be at the top end fighting for promotion.
With the squad we've got up until now I think we can do it."

Ho Ho Ho Holiday Camp
Our dear friends at The Soccer Hub are running a three day soccer camp starting on December 21st through to Wednesday 23rd. The cost of the camp is £15 per day or £35 for the three days. There will also be a GK day on Tuesday 29th December. The cost of the GK day is £25 and each keeper will receive a pair of 1GKs!
October Half Term Soccer School
The Soccer Hub are running a four day soccer school in the October half term. This will run from Tuesday 27th through till Friday 30th. We will be running a special GK training camp on the Wednesday. The GK day will be £25 and that will include a free 1GK Glove and Accessory bag. Book at info@thesoccerhub.co.uk and state GK day after your childs name.
